I have had this ceiling fan installed for about 6 months now and can truly say it is one of the best purchases I made last year. It's extremely quiet, with no wobbling even at the highest speed. The fan is so contemporary it made the whole kitchen look newer. The remote makes it so handy to change speeds and direction - no chain to pull. The remote screws in where the wall switch was before, so no worries about losing it. I wasn't sure how this would work, since our ceiling light has a switch at each entrance, but it's fine. We replaced the switch we use most with the remote, and the other switch just turns the power on and off. The fan and light come back on with the same settings as when it was switched off. I believe you can order another remote if you prefer - we don't use the second switch enough to warrant it.
