Recently Amazons description of this light was vague and confusing as you will see in my and some other reviewers reviews. I contacted Amazon and they have the correct description in there now. Please disregard comments on description. As mentioned earlier this light has no sensor or on/off switch on it. It has to be manually plugged in or out, if you want the light on or off. In Amazons description I was also not sure if it had a bulb or a LED light. Fortunately it has a 1/2 watt blue LED light that surprisingly is bright enough to find your way around in a small to medium area, particularly when your eyes are accustomed to the dark as when you wake up at night. This night light really does not have to be unplugged for the amount of electricity it uses. A 1/2 watt LED light probably only uses pennies of electricity a month. This is a nice looking modern light with an attractive blue glow to it. Although leaving the light on all day seems like a waste, its still well worth it for the nominal amount I paid for it and the small amount of electricity it uses. So 5 stars for this light since it looks and works quite well.. this is my Leviton 49568-BLU Blue LED Nightlight, Clear reviews
