I purchased these night lights because I have a toddler and a baby who LOVE pulling the traditional night lights from the outlet. I guess that there is something about the more traditional night lights that screams "pull me!" The baby, especially, is at danger because of this and I have not found a safe alternative to night lights. Until now. Not ONLY are these nightlights stylish and beautiful and give off just the right amount of glow needed, but they are wide enough so that if the baby tries to pull them out, she cannot wrap her fingers around it enough to pull. Bonus:The prongs in the back are also the same size, so even if you needed to plug this in upside down (in order to use the other outlet), you can.
